- With Catalano Public Relations, Debbie established herself in the music industry as a publicist for bands, musicians, and music events. In addition, she was Director of Publicity for a major indie label, Critique Records/BMG, representing the label and its various artists. On the writing side, she worked as Managing Editor for N.E. Performer Magazine; was the writer and editor for The Boston Music Awards' program for 10 year; and was Managing Editor of SoundCheck Magazine. The company evolved into a writing and editorial business/agency in the 2000s and in 2008 officially the name was changed to Catalano Creative to reflect the business's shift in focus and expansion. Now, Catalano Creative offers the full spectrum of writing and editorial services including advertising copywriting both short-form and long-form (print ads, website content, brochures, press releases, biographies, radio scripts/ads, and more) and copy editing/proofreading for all types of businesses.
